Barkley & Pips is Queensland's original dog café — a place where great coffee, wholesome food, and a genuine love of dogs come together under one roof in Bundamba, Ipswich.
Finding a café that truly welcomes your dog — not just tolerates them — is harder than it should be. Barkley & Pips was created to change that. We are Queensland's first dedicated dog café, boutique, and grooming salon, operating from our venue in Bundamba since 2020. Every detail of our space has been designed with dogs and their people in mind.
Our café menu is built around quality. We pour specialty espresso using premium beans, craft smoothies, frappes, and milkshakes in-house, and prepare fresh food daily — from full English breakfasts and smashed avocado on sourdough, to gourmet burgers, New York-style bagels, and fluffy Marcel's pancakes from New Zealand. Our kitchen closes at 1pm, so come hungry and come early.
Your dog is not an afterthought here — they are a guest. Our doggy menu features puppuccinos (pumpkin or plain froth), pupcakes, frozen yoghurt treats, handmade biscuits, and birthday cakes available to pre-order. We provide fresh water, ample space, and a team that genuinely loves meeting your dog by name.
On-site, our professional grooming salon offers everything from introductory puppy sessions and wash-and-dry packages to full breed-standard cuts and the luxurious Pawdicure experience. Groomers use gentle, premium products suited to all coat types and sensitivities.
We are located at Unit 1, 1 Hawkins Crescent, Bundamba QLD 4304 — just minutes from central Ipswich and a straightforward drive from Brisbane's western suburbs. We are open Monday to Friday from 7am to 2pm and Saturday to Sunday from 8am to 2pm. Bring your dog. We've been expecting you both.
